Worship Leader 
Description: Leading musicians to help kids to worship our awesome God!
Goal: to facilitate the worship of kids in Power UP!(large group sessions)
Frequency: Responsible to make sure worship happens every week, but not committed to leading it personally every week.
Time Commitment: 8:45 – 10:30am AND 10:45 – 12:30pm
Gifts: music, creativity, worship & organization
Term: Until the end of June 2009
Age Levels: 5 year olds to 5th grade
Responsibilities:
organize musicians and select worship music( with guidance from Director
Lead singing with energy and passion
inspire cildren to engage in worship
Practie with musicians ahead of time

Goal: to build relationships with chcildren in order to guide them in life-changing Bible learning
Frequency: 2 weeks per month minimum
Time Commitment: 8:40 – 10:45am OR 10:40 – 12:45pm

Responsibilities:
welcome children into large sessions (Power UP!)
participate with children in Power Up!
Guild Bibe learning by refiewing the lesson with children and leading discussion and activities related to the lesson in "Catch ON!" time
model the love of Christ by getting to know children and sharing their concerns, needs and joys
Pray regularly for each child and for fellow volunteers
participate in scheduled meetings and training events (approximately bymonthly)

Goal: to teach the Bible lesson in a format appealing to kids

Time Commitment: 8:30 –9:45am AND 10:30– 11:45pm
Gifts: Music, creativity, worship & organization
Term: Until the end of June 2009
Age Levels: 5 year olds to 5th grade
Responsibilities:
read and memorize (as best as possible) lines
practice with other actors before Power UP!

Description: Teaching preschooolers during the main service.
Goal: Provide quality care and demonstrate the love of Christ to these little ones.
Frequency: two weeks per month
Time Commitment: 8:40-10:45 OR 10:40-12:45

Responsibilities:
Lead the class in games, crafts, songs, snacks and stories
Take the children to the large group teaching time (Note: you are not responsible for teaching the bible story)
Work with other volunteers to care for children
Keep children safe, healthy and happy
Pray regularly for each child and for fellow volunteers
Participate in scheduled meeting and training events (approx. bimonthly)

VBS Team Member
Description: Help to plan and run the VBS program for summer 2009
Goal:To share the work load of running a VBS and incease our resournce by working together
Frequency: First planning meeting would be in January. Meeting would only be bimonthly until closer to VBS.
Time Commitment: probably a week night

Nursery Volunteer
Description: Caring for infants and toddlers during the main service
Goal: To help parents with their little ones for a short time and provide quality care.
Frequency: once every 8 weeks
Time Commitment: 8:45-1030 OR 10:45-12:30 am
Term:Year round
Age Levels: newborn to 23 months
Responsibilities:
work with other volunteers to care for children
Keep children safe, healthy and happy
Optional: singins songs, telling stories, playing games with children
Clean toys tthat were in mouths & tidy nursery after service
Gifts: tenderness and care
Required: some experience with infants and toddlers is beneficial
