The LINK is a high school age program that helps teens make the connection with God and others.  It stands for Living, Inviting, Nurturing and Knowing.  Living is being courageous in following Jesus by reflecting His character in our lives; Inviting is staying engaged in culture so that the LINK is radically inclusive to non-followers of Christ; Nurturing is being intentional about influence in order to support each other in our faith; Knowing is staying passionate about God through the understanding of Who he is and who we are in Christ.

“The LINK is a place where teenagers of Kitchener-Waterloo can meet and have awesome times together! Each time together has led us to God, and it is God that is changing my life.” ~17 year old student

Through positive, crazy activities and solid discovery of God through the Bible and interaction, teens discover and learn how to:

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Understand the Bible in this generation
  • Engage and impact their world with the love of Jesus Christ
  • Live and grow as a family of friends
  • Respond in a Christlike manner to daily life-struggles
  • Develop as a generation of servant-leaders

Friday Nights
The LINK hosts an outrageously fun, smile-producing evening where teens expand their horizons learning about God,
chasing down a relevant theme.  A normal evening begins at 7:03 and ends at 10:26 with a light snack*. See link below for this year's events and teaching schedule.

Special Events

Every once in a while, The LINK will take part in special events. These events include Sno Camp, Coffee House, Pitch and Praise, The Dodgeball Tournament and other activities. These events are great first time events and always create lasting memories. Information Packages for Weekend Retreats will be made available 6 weeks prior to the date.

Service Projects

The first Sunday of every other month, The LINK serves at the Ray of Hope Community Centre. It is located at 659 King Street East in Kitchener. Students are encouraged to arrive at 3:30 PM and will serve until 7 PM. In 2011-2012, students will be serving in September, November, January, March and May.

Student Leadership
Each year, students are given the opportunity to join a team of other students who seek to lead and serve their peers. Students on the team meet once a month to learn about leadership and how each one of us is both a servant and leader in all areas of life. The student leadership track is a one year committment, beginning in september and ending in June. Through it all, students will experience the most important truth of leadership that Jesus taught: True leaders serve others.
