PJ Wong, Youth and Young Adult Ministries

"The Student Ministries at Lincoln Road Chapel are all about loving God and loving other people as we try to figure out what life is really all about! Whether you are in your preteens at Xtreme Youth, your teenage years at the LINK or in that awkward and weird stage called  'Young Adulthood', the communities of faith found in these three groups seek to find Jesus Christ, his message and his heart for both the found and the lost."

Gord Brock, Youth Adult Ministries

"My wife and I love young people and never grow tired of seeing what God can do with a young person who commits themselves fully to God. He changes them radically.  They are never the same again.  We’re driven by a dream of youth walking with God, riding the wave of God’s purpose, and bringing their friends along for the ride.  For some reason, God trusts us to demonstrate to this next generation that being like Jesus has far less to do with how much you know than how well you love.  If we can help one young person to decide that now, it will influence every relationship and dream and pursuit for the rest of their lives, and hey, that’s what it’s all about."

Student Ministries at Lincoln Road Chapel includes Xtreme Youth (grade 6-8), The LINK  (grade 9-12) and Young Adult Ministries (post-high school).  We desire to ignite a passion for Jesus among this generation and develop their leadership potential.  Our desire is to equip students to engage and impact their world with the love of Jesus.  And so, we put a strong emphasis on loving God and loving people, on character, convictions, knowing what we believe, personal decisions, habits or disciplines of Jesus-following and knowing God. We are about creating environments for:

  • Living and growing together as a family of friends

  • Providing relevant solutions to age appropriate and future struggles

  • Shaping leaders in the now and in the future

  • Having a lot of smile-producing and positive yet outrageous memories of youth
